Marc Miller
Marc is an internationally certified coach trained at the University of Cape Town and New Insights Life Coaching. With 10 years of education and coaching experience, and over 400 hours of coaching to date, Marc designs his own coaching programs, based on cognitive behavioural therapy and self-determination theory.
Marc spent his early career at a leading international school for inclusive education and differentiated learning, where he worked alongside therapists, psychologists and counsellors to support students with special learning needs. The experience reinforced Marc’s belief that everyone can be an overcomer of their circumstances. Marc recognizes that one’s inability to perform per life’s expectation may have nothing to do with capability but in fact a result of psychological conditions (e.g. attention deficiency, depressive episode), and tackling the specific conditions and symptoms with the right coaching method and process makes the real difference.
Marc also holds a Bachelor’s (BSocSci Honours) in Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he completed research on moral and ethical intuitionism. He is completing an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London.
