The terms that apply when you use this website or work with Creaturae.

Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of creaturae.org and to coaching, group sessions, workshops, speaking, and consulting services provided by Creaturae, the practice of Deborah Lee in New York City. By using the site or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you work with us one-on-one, your coaching agreement also applies, and it takes precedence if the two differ.
Coaching is not therapy
Creaturae provides coaching, not psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care. Coaching is educational and supportive. It isn't a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a licensed mental health or medical professional.
Somatic coaching works with the body and nervous system, and it can bring up strong emotions or memories. We work at a pace that respects your window of tolerance, and you can pause, slow down, or stop any practice at any time.
If you're currently receiving mental health treatment, we encourage you to let your provider know you're working with a coach. We may suggest a referral to a licensed professional if your needs fall outside the scope of coaching.
Not an emergency service
Creaturae doesn't provide crisis support, and messages aren't monitored around the clock. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US), call 911, or contact your local emergency number if you're outside the US.
Your participation
You're responsible for your own choices, actions, and results during and after coaching. Coaching doesn't guarantee specific outcomes. You agree to share relevant information honestly, including any health conditions that could affect physical or breath-based practices, and to adapt or skip any practice that doesn't feel right for your body.
Booking, payment, and cancellations
- Sessions are booked through our online scheduling system. Discovery calls are free.
- Fees are listed at the time of booking or in your coaching agreement, and payments are processed securely by Stripe.
- Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are shown when you book and confirmed in your coaching agreement.
- Packages and programs are personal to you and can't be transferred without written agreement.
Group sessions and workshops
In group settings, you agree to keep what other participants share confidential, to treat others with respect, and to follow the facilitator's guidance around safety and consent. We may ask a participant to leave a session if their behavior compromises the safety of the group.
Content and intellectual property
Everything on this site and in our materials, including text, practices, worksheets, recordings, the Attuned newsletter, and the Creaturae name and logo, belongs to Creaturae unless noted otherwise. You're welcome to use materials for your own personal practice. Please don't reproduce, sell, or teach them without written permission.

Content on this site is for general educational purposes and isn't personal, medical, or psychological advice. Links to outside websites are provided for convenience, and we aren't responsible for their content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Creaturae and Deborah Lee aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site or services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
